VITTAL XP is an ultra-effective, economical, multi-purpose product that can clean, deoderize and disinfect in a single step. It’s powerful 4th generation quaternary ammonium germicidal agents kill and remove the sources of infection, mold, mildew and malodors, including antibiotic resistant variations. This, combined with a unique synergistic surfactant system that permits the product to perform as a superior cleaner and effective solvent-free, low pH degreaser. VITTAL XP is recommended for use in health care institutions, food plants (CFIA approved), industrial and recreational facilities, mine “dry’s”, etc. Controlled foam formulation for efficient use in automatic scrubbers. Meets the Health Canada “Broad Spectrum” criteria for efficacy against 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) (Covid 19) Broad-spectrum virucide: A substance, or mixture of substances, capable of destroying or irreversibly inactivating at a minimum one representative hard to kill non-enveloped virus, and which is expected to inactivate other enveloped and non-enveloped viruses present on environmental surfaces and inanimate objects.

VITTAL XP is a one-step disinfectant cleaner that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, is virucidal (including HIV-1), fungicidal and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and their odours when used as directed.
COVID 19 Disinfection: SARS-Related Coronavirus 2 [SARS-CoV-2] [cause of COVID-19] To disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces use 16 ml of XP per litre of water. Spray or otherwise apply the XP solution so as to thoroughly wet surfaces. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 3 min. Clean heavily soiled areas prior to disinfecting.
General Disinfection: To disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces use 16 ml of XP per litre of water. Spray or otherwise apply the XP solution so as to thoroughly wet surfaces. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 min.. Clean heavily soiled areas prior to disinfecting. For heavy duty use use 60 ml of XP per litre of water. Spray 15 – 20 cm from surface and scrub with brush, sponge or cloth. At 60 ml / L XP is virucidal, fungicidal and fungistatic. At this dilution, all surfaces on which this product is used and which come in contact with food, are to be rinsed with potable water. For light duty germicidal cleaning 10 ml / L is effective against Staph Aureus, Salmonella Choleraesuis, and E Coli.
Hospital & Medical Institution Use: At 16 ml / L use-level, XP is active against a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses. Please consult product information for further details.
Fungicidal Control: At 16 ml / L XP is effective against athlete’s foot fungus so is ideal as a cleaner/disinfectant for use in athletic facilities and locker rooms.
Mold & Mildew Control: At 16 ml / L XP will inhibit the growth of mold and mildew, when applied to hard, non-porous surfaces. Spray or otherwise apply and allow to dry on the surface. Reapply as necessary.
Virucidal Use Dilutions: At 16 ml / L XP is effective against Vaccinia, Herpes Simplex Type 1 & 2, as well as Influenza A/Brazil Virus and HIV-1(1 minute minimum contact time on precleaned surface). At 64ml/L it is effective against Adenovirus Type 5.
Sanitizing Non-Food Contact Surfaces: At 4 ml / L XP is an effective sanitizer against Staph Aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae .
Sanitizing Food Contact Surfaces: At 4 ml / L (200 ppm active) XP is an effective sanitizer against Eschericia coli, Salmonella choleraesuis, and Listeria monocytogenes. Preclean soiled surfaces with XP, then rinse. Spray and let dry.
Food Plant Disinfection: To disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces in food plants, use 16 ml / L and allow the treated surfaces to remain wet for 10 minutes. When used on surfaces coming in direct contact with food, rinse thoroughly with water.
